11/5	C Day	We have gym and art. Homework: Do math fact practice sheet and read/ explain the syllable pattern on your word list.
11/6	D Day	We have music. Homework: Complete the word work worksheet.
11/7	E Day	We have music. Homework: Math Worksheet
11/8	F Day	We have music.   Half Day 12:05 p.m. Dismissal Homework: Read on RAZ.
11/9	A Day	We have .      Half Day  12:05 p.m. Dismissal       Homework: We do not have homework.

    

Student Teachers:  This week marks the beginning of our student teachers,  Mrs. Krieger and Mrs. Mauriello, lead teaching weeks. They will be leading the classroom exclusively from November 5th-November 21st.   The two of them have done a wonderful job gradually taking over the class and we are excited for them to be fully in charge. We will still be in the building so please feel free to email us with any questions.

Halloween Party:  We had a wonderful party on Wednesday. Thank you to Mrs. Kirshenbaum for volunteering to fill the lead parent role. Thank you to Mrs. Drewno, Mrs. Grossman, Mrs Edwards, Mrs. Fisbeck, Mrs. Grossman, Mrs. Kovac, and Mrs. Spitale for helping at the party. Finally thank you to the above parents as well as Mrs. Arney and Mrs Izazolla for providing supplies. We appreciate everything you did to make that time so memorable. Stuffed A Truck: Thank you for the donations you have sent in. Our class is doing a great job collecting food. We will continue collecting until next Friday.  

PTO Thanksgiving Luncheon:  Our Lincoln School Thanksgiving Luncheon will be Thursday, November 16th! All students are encouraged to participate. Lunch is $2.45 for students and payment should be sent by  Thursday, November 15th. We need many parent/grandparent volunteers to help on this day. Please contact the office if you’re able to help out. Unfortunately due to limited spacing, parents and grandparents are only welcome to attend if they are volunteering. Thank you in advance for considering helping us for this fun yearly tradition.

 

Second Grade Music Program:  Stay tuned for more details about our 2nd grade music program which will be on  November 27th at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a morning performance during school on that same day.  We will hopefully have more details soon.
