Note About Music Program



Dear 2nd Grade Families,

Just a reminder that the 2nd Grade Musical is Tuesday, November 27th at Lincoln Elementary at 6 pm. The students should wear colors that match their sea animal. You may start arriving at school Tuesday night as early as 5:45 but not earlier. For the safety of our students I ask that your student stay with you until their classroom teacher arrives. They can then report to their classroom to wait until show time.
Set up will be at 4:15 on Monday November 26th in the Gym. (Please consider coming helping!).Clean up will be right after the show if you are able to stay and help!
Thank you again for all your support. The students can't wait to show you all their hard work!

Costumes for the 2nd grade program GO FISH! I will provide students with fish hats for each of their outfits. I have given each type of fish a color or color option to wear for the performance. This color may be worn in a Shirt, Dress, Sweater,
Button-up, etc. My only request is that there is no writing on the front (you may turn the shirt inside out). Bottoms may be any kind of dark color that doesn't have any rips or holes.
All kinds of Sharks - Grey or Blue shirt
Rainbow fish- Brightly colored outfit
Goldfish- Yellow or gold
Zebrafish-White shirt and black dots (maybe a polka dotted shirt if you already have one)
Octopus- Purple or Grey long sleeve
Starfish- any "flashy" outfit
Tuna-Any Color
Angel- pink or white
Yellowtail fish- Yellow
Sunfish-Yellow
Butterfly- Any Color
Clown Fish- Orange
Eel-All black. (We will be adding glow sticks to your clothing)
Crabs-Red
Seahorses-Cowboy looking outfit, plaid shirt-I will provide cowboy hats. Swordfish- grey or blue
Sea turtle-green

Bead Jar Celebration on Friday.

They did it again!!!   I thought for sure this would be a week that the bead jar would not make it to the top and then we went to library.  The class did an amazing job in library and then another incredible job in the computer lab.  I feel like a broken record when I say I have never had a class work so well as a team.  Tomorrow they may bring a stuff animal friend.  We are having a special gum time while we work and then will have a class kickball game.  It will be a fun Friday.  As always, email me if you have any questions.
